On June 28, 2025, Avery and Drew Stickney tied the knot at the stunning Dunegrass Golf & Event Center in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and quick pivots as a summer rainstorm swept through the coastal town.
But even with shifting plans, the magic of their celebration never faltered. From heartfelt vows to a packed dance floor, every moment felt intentional and unforgettable.
Nestled in the heart of Old Orchard Beach, Dunegrass Golf & Event Center is one of Maine’s most sought-after venues. With manicured greens and an elegant indoor ballroom, it offers couples the perfect blend of seaside charm and timeless sophistication.
When rain rolled in, Avery and Drew’s ceremony was seamlessly moved indoors. Warm-white uplighting transformed the ballroom, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere as guests gathered to witness their vows.

As their Maine wedding DJ, I focused on setting the right tone from the start. Crystal-clear wireless microphones ensured every guest could hear the emotional vows. Soft background music played as the couple exchanged rings, adding to the cozy, heartfelt vibe of the indoor ceremony.
Even with a last-minute location shift, Avery and Drew remained calm and present—focused only on the joy of the moment.

Once the formalities were complete, the energy shifted from emotional to electric. Avery and Drew entered the reception as newlyweds to the sound of cheers from their family and friends.
The couple’s playlist blended their personal favorites with guest requests, creating a dynamic flow that kept the dance floor full all night. With curated lighting design, a personalized monogram, and our luxury photo booth, the room felt alive with celebration.

"Michael was the perfect fit for our wedding day, from setting the vibe to keeping the party going all evening. He was so easy to work with and book with, as well as all of the meetings we had along the way. He was helpful with explaining the planning app to us, which was easy and convenient. You can really tell he takes weddings seriously and has fun with it.
While we had a lot of songs picked out for the cocktail hour and reception, he was perfect with incorporating requests from guests as well as other songs we all enjoyed. His mics were perfect, and the sound was incredible throughout the ceremony, dinner, speeches, dances, and reception. He has a lot more to offer than just DJ services. Everyone loved the personalized logo and had so much fun with the photo booth. We got compliments from all of our guests about how much fun he was and what a great job he did. His setup is amazing and went well with the decoration and vibe of our wedding. We would recommend him to anyone we know (and don’t know!) and would definitely use him again in a heartbeat."
