On August 8, 2026, Jessica Connolly and Ryan McGinty gathered their family and friends at Sebasco Harbor Resort for a coastal Maine celebration filled with music, tradition and an unforgettable dance floor.

Their wedding was not built around one dramatic feature. It was the result of many carefully coordinated moments—from clear ceremony audio and relaxed cocktail music to Irish dancers, live saxophone, changing lighting and a sparkler exit overlooking the Maine coast.

Creating a Natural Flow from Ceremony to Celebration

Our work began with ceremony audio and music, making sure the words and meaningful musical selections could be heard clearly by the people Jessica and Ryan invited to share the moment.

Cocktail hour provided the transition into the reception, with music chosen to complement the setting without overwhelming conversations. Inside the reception, programmed uplighting, spotlighting, and a personalized monogram helped transform the room while keeping the presentation clean and appropriate for Sebasco Harbor Resort.

Some of the most important production decisions were intentionally invisible. Power distribution was adjusted to conceal wiring, preserve clean sightlines, and prevent technical equipment from distracting from the venue or décor.

Irish Tradition and Live Saxophone

Jessica and Ryan incorporated Irish dancers into their reception, adding a personal cultural moment that required careful coordination with the wedding timeline. Their performance needed to feel like a natural part of the celebration—not an interruption to it.

Later, saxophonist Jonathan of @soundslikejonathan joined the music live. Blending saxophone with the DJ set gave the dance floor another layer of energy and created an experience that felt spontaneous while remaining musically cohesive.

A Dance Floor for Every Generation

The goal was never simply to play a predetermined list of songs. It was to watch the room, understand how guests were responding, and make musical decisions in real time.

That approach brought different generations together throughout the evening. The footage shows grandparents, younger guests, and everyone between them sharing the same dance floor—along with limbo, live saxophone, and perfectly timed CO₂ moments.

Jessica later described the result:

“He curated the perfect song selection so we never needed a dance break, and our guests couldn’t stop raving.”

She also noted that guests ranging from millennials to the couple’s oldest relatives remained involved throughout the night. That is the kind of dance floor we work to create: energetic and inclusive, without relying on a generic playlist or forcing participation.

Finishing the Night with a Sparkler Exit

A sparkler exit may look effortless in photographs and video, but it requires preparation, communication, and precise timing.

Guests needed to be positioned, sparklers distributed and lit safely, and Jessica and Ryan cued at the right moment. Coordinating those pieces allowed the couple to enjoy the experience without having to manage it themselves—and gave the celebration a fitting final image.

From the ceremony through the last sparkler, Jessica and Ryan’s Sebasco Harbor Resort wedding demonstrated what happens when music, production, and timing work together. Every detail served the celebration, while the technical work remained quietly in the background.
